The simplest way to ensure that you are getting what you ordered for, or were promised, is to sit with the vendor or your installer, and go through the specifications mentioned for the actual solar panel delivered, against the specifications you were looking for.

So where can you find all these specifications?

The specs for the solar panel will be available will be available in its data sheets. These data sheets will always be supplied by the manufacturer of the solar panel. Rather, if any solar panel manufacturer has not supplied a data sheet along with the solar panels, you should simply reject the solar panel because any semi decent solar panel manufacturer will supply you with the data sheet.

If data for any of the spec is not available, ask the solar panel vendor to offer formal proof of the same in some other manner – just a verbal statement is not enough.
