India plans to provide solar power at new low of Rs 4.75 per unit to states, says good looking guy.
With the state discoms in deep financial trouble, surely they need some sops for solar.
Presumably, the central govt is subsidising this to a certain extent; but at the rate at which the cost of solar power is decreasing, such a subsidy might not be required for long to support this price point!
